They should all be so much fun...for everyone, including you.

The photos make it look like lots of fun and I am sure will provide memories for a long time to come.

Thank you!
Actually it wasn't a lot of fun. LOL. I was standing to the side shooting the ceremony, and I got knocked down on my butt by the wind. So did the flower girl. It was crazy. I never spent so much time removing stray hairs in post in my life. LOL.

Anyway, so many of us get these weddings that aren't perfect. It's a crappy venue, or clients that aren't model perfect, or $hitty weather, whatever.....but we can make it work! (God I can't tell you how many wedding receptions I shot in the school gym my first few years!!!!)
Photographers rule!

Pretty much,what is the point.
I'll delete all this.

Ok, I can't without deleating my my blog.
You win.

Hope you step up to the plate photo guy, and try to help eveyone.

Are you having a conversation with yourself?

I find #3 to be pretty interesting with the guns/country feel to it. It would have been cool to vintage that one as well.

Thanks for looking Slow and Jakie. I appreciate you "CC".

No.7 is actually my fav. Then the groom with his enterage w/ the shotguns... Thats cool!!! lol.

LOL. Thank you soocom1.

These are "down home" Texas people, and they are proud of it. During the toast, her dad came out dressed in camo and fired off several shots from his rifle. It scared the $hit out of me. Hehe.

At any rate, this was one of those weddings that you don't expect, and that you have to shoot really shallow on. It wasn't the best of conditions to be sure.

But they made photography a priority and I felt a great need to make it look like it was the best wedding ever.

I spent I don't know how many hours removing chain link fences, ropes holding things to the ground, and a mass of crazy windblown hair. Probably the hardest wedding I've ever done.

The one wedding I did that was the hardest and most fun was one with some bikers. (30 people attending with 25 Harleys and 1 1954 Indian).
I wish I still had the negatives to it! That was blast!
