The weather has been crappy with snow and rain dominating the forecasts for the most part. So today I went out with the wife to look at a house and on the way found this shot. Amazing how hard it is to work in deep snow. Fun though.

it feels a little tight.. Need a little room above the little roof.

Thanks for the input, even with a dead sky it would need more? I agree though that it may be a bit tight. I'm just wondering if opening it up with a gray sky really will have a positive impact on the overall image?

Yeah, needs just a touch more room on top. We expect the sky to be bald during snowy conditions.
ons.

I quite like dead space if you do it tastefully. Personally I would put a lot more until the ridge of the main roof is about 2/3.

Id actually like to see the whole building as well. The building is splitting the frame in half, which is actually kind of interesting.

I really like the dead sky in combination with the colour of the barn. It really works well.

But, I am visually thrown off balance by the fact that the edge of the barn is pretty much dead centre in the image- my eye gets drawn directly to that door-sized white frame on the corner of the building. Do you have any shots from a different angle? Would love to see them if you do.

Or, would you consider cropping just a little bit off of the left side, just to take the edge of the barn out of the centre of the shot?

Regardless, really nice shot!
