Manfrotto Elbow or 'L' bracket

Anyone uses this to mount their DSLR in a portrait position on a Bogen-Manfrotto head knows that the major design flaw is that the 1/4 20 screw to mount the camera to the bracket is not connected in any way when there is no camera mounted on the elbow. Easy to lose.

I corrected this in a simple inexpensive and very satisfactory way. way. If there is any interest I will write a small 'how-to' and post it here.
