All kind of questions. My first question - is this a composite as it looks just a bit too good to be true. No problem if it is, just curious - truth in advertising and all that - if it isn't then this is a very unique capture - timing was everything. How did you light the tower? Would you care to share the full technical aspects of how this image was captured? Thanks.

truth in advertising, it is a composite blend of 2 exposures. i did not light the tower personally but there is another lighthouse very close and faint side bleed from it's light was enough to illuminate the tower though i did have to do a fairly long exposure to get decent lighting (something like 70 seconds if i recall). the sky is was just a straight forward 20 second exposure at f2 to minimize trails. shots edited and blended in lr and ps.
