Manual Focus?

I'll be adopting a Minolta SRT-101 with 5 Minolta MC/MD lenses (not sure which ones other than a 50mm 1.7) next month, but I think I'm going to primarily use legacy lenses on my OM-D rather than my Nikon.

I use manual focus most of the time. Once I got the hang of it I found that I really like the control. The only time I switch to AF is when my subject is moving.

I'm making some cams now so I can use an MC mount Minolta 50/1.4 on a Leica rangefinder. I modified a Pentax screw mount 50/1.4, Canon Fl Mount 50/1.4, and a Konica 50/1.7. All "dead-end Mounts", orphaned decades ago. The glass in them is 1st class.

This may sound silly, but I always worry about my eyes blowing it. I feel that a $1,000 machine is going to be sharper than my eyes. I wear contacts, I see pretty clearly. Does anyone else have that problem? That is, without a doubt, my bigest hindering portion to the "technical" aspect as far as I'm concerned.

I agree, I wear contacts too, but I prefer to trust AF most of the time.
