..namely beauty photography. I did some fashion too with the same girl but maybe I'll post that later.

Anyways, I'm a total newbie when it comes to this kind of photography. This is like.. my second fashion/beauty shoot ever hehe. But I think it came out pretty nice. It was real fun so I'm gonna try to do more stuff like this in the future..

My only thought, and it is just a thought - in that second shot, maybe a softer angle on her elbow. Less 90 degree more round and "s-curve". Just a thought that's playing around in my head!!

Thanks. About the elbow, I wanted it like that to make a "frame"! So it's 100% intentional!

What was your lighting setup used for these? What about background setup?

One flash with octabox on my left side and one with a striplight from back/right. Background was just a wall.

i think they have a "mod" feel to them which matches her look and personality perfect. if i were her, i would be happy with them.
