Just a couple of shots from an evening stroll in the Hampshire/Dorset countryside. Let me know if you like them and tell me what you don't like.

The first one is 'nice' enough, but there's nothing in it that really holds my attention for very long (although the clouds are somewhat dramatic). But that second shot, whoa, really like it! Very dramatic sky, especially in the upper left corner where the clouds are so dark. As my eye moves to the right, I see the lighter sky and the sun's rays angling downward, and I like how the ground slopes downwards to the right as well. The alternating fields of green and brown are like 3 triangles zigzagging in and drawing my eye into the shot. I like the simplicity of the brown dirt field bordered by the grassy green areas, with just a few trees breaking the line of the horizon. This shot definitely held my interest.

#1 is nice but #2 rocks. The tonal range and the light streaming through the clouds nail it!
