mats for photos

Hi. Anyone know where to get quality mats to mount photos?
I want to use the best ones that I can find in bulk quantities.

find a hobby lobby and get a mat cutter. once you get used to it you can make some amazing looking mats.

I get mine from Frames By Mail - Your source for picture frames.. They're pretty inexpensive and do a good job of cutting. I do need to take an emery board to a mat once in a while though.

Mounting photos is done on mount board, not mats.

What mounting method do you plan to use?

At any rate, there are many outlets for bulk quantities of quality mounting and matting materials to be found online.

I recommend you get samples from a variety of suppliers that seem to have product you would be interested in, and compare prices after a close examination of the samples.

Hobby Lobby is where I go. They can custom cut a mat for pretty cheap. I had one cut for a 20x30 picture in a 24x36 frame for about 7-8 bucks if I remember right.
