I'm more interested in photographing people than anything, so when I just go for a walk I have a hard time finding things that interest me. I love shooting portraits. Sometimes I see something that interests me, but most of the time I don't because thats not where my interests lie. You need to find where your interests are.

You are thinking too hard. Just get out there and shoot. Then post some C&C's and learn and grow from that.

Yup! It's much easier to come here and see what others think, than to really give deep thought to your own creative perspective.

I've had the same issues in the past as well, one of the easiest ways to look at the world different, is to actually LOOK (physically) at it differently. Once you change the perspective on certain subjects, they become interesting to the eye. Of course one subject at eye level for you will look bland, but get lower or higher than the subject and see if it changes for you.
