MB-D10 Question

Quick question: Does the MB-D10 really increase the burst rate of a D700 from 5FPS to 8FPS?

IIRC only if you had D3 batteries in the battery grip.

It also does this if the grip is loaded with AA batteries. I have one and it's a huge difference between 5 and 8 fps. I use rechargeable AA to keep the cost down.

Yes, as stated with the expensive but cool D3 type battery (you'll need the special drawer and end cap I believe) or (I used) rechargeable AA with the included drawer.
