I tried to capture or convey emotions during a local Memorial Day ceremony. These are 2 of my favorites (I shared another in B&W here). These were captured hand-held, using my Nikon D810 and a Tamron SP 70-200mm F/2.8 Di VC USD. All processing done in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop CC (2015), including the use of the Nik Collection.
Dominic was actually cropped from a much wider shot of several Boy Scouts during a flag raising. I almost deleted the photo until I saw the potential in the flag framing him. Captured at125mm, f/3.2, 1/800s, ISO 100.
Troy served in Korea a lifetime ago and the memories still haunt him. Shot at 200mm, f/3.2, 1/640s, ISO 100.
Please share your C&C.
Thanks,
Jim
