This is a shot of Memorial Presbyterian Church in St. Augustine, Florida:

For whatever reason, most of the churches in town were closed to "tours" the day I was downtown, and none of those would let me in to photograph them. I got some outside shots which I'm relatively pleased with, though. In this one, I removed some of the lens distortion in Photoshop, but couldn't get it all out without losing the top of the church. Between the top of the church and some distortion, I unregrettably chose the top of the church...

I know what you're saying, although the distortion that remained doesn't totally kill it for me...

not bad, there is some haloing around the palm trees on the right and left side and you should bring back the detail in the shadows of the church, palms and bushes. There are some blown out areas that need to be addressed part of the clouds in the sky and the brick work.

The distortion does not bother me one bit.

Looks like a great church to shoot, great find

No way did it kill it. It's still a nice photo, but just imagine what a 4x5 view could have pulled off.
