Whats the difference between CF Type I, II, and Microdrive, and all those other ones like SD, MMC, xD...?

I think that CF cards have the most capacity but are kinda huge (type II is faster). Microdrives are cheaper but fragile.

in my opinion, i like CF, the huge-ness is fine, because its easier to hold

I like CF too... There's a reason all pro cameras use them. They're not that big, but you can get a microdrive (a harddrive) if you want to.

Yeah I think CF offer the best storage capacity within the space, and they are nice and fast, I have an ultrafast 1 gig card for my 20D and it has upped the amount of photos I can take in drive mode from the Canon spec.
