Great image, it gives you a lot to think about.

Is it about a father leaving his family? Thats what I see.
There is a lot of emotion, the mother and children dressed in white are climbing the hill, while the father dressed in black seems to be storming off. It seems like you could then infer that the mother and children are heading to heaven, but the father to hell.

The blurriness makes it seem like the memory is from one of the children who did not quite understand what was happening at the time, but it was the last time they saw their father.

It really does make one think. It has a story, and the B&W gives it a serious mood. I'm not sure I like the vignetting though, but it does focus my eye on the brighter part of the horizon in the top of the picture.

it looks spooky, like the dark creature at the bottom is stalking the people.

A lot of things about this picture confuse me, and I love it. It really does lend itself to be interpreted by the viewer.
