Almost looked like a Osprey but much smaller. This was also taken at the Edwin B. Forsyth wildlife refuge.

Nice shot would have prefered it without the two bits of plant on the bottom left but you obviously can't walk up and remove them in this instance. Merlin did pose nicely for you though, hope you thanked him!

Nice one!! It does indeed look surprisingly small, unless that sign is honking huge. I've seen Hitchcocks' "the Birds", so I won't be messing with Merlin
