Thanks! Taken with the Tamron 18-400mm at 400mm. At 400mm one can get within 8" of the subject.

Yes, I have a Sigma as well as a Tamron. I use the Tamron for general/close-up (18-400mm) photography, and the Sigma for those distant shots (150-600mm). The Tamron lets me get within 8 inches of the subject at 400mm, but even at 150mm, I have to be at least 8 feet away with the Sigma. The Sigma is also a challenge for BIF and other moving shots due to its weight and slower focus speed.
