Meteor Shower Over Panama City Beach

Saw tons of the little buggers skipping all over the sky and wish they'd all have converged across my lens plane...but alas, they had other wishes to make come true. Did get lucky on one frame.

Pretty good capture. With most meteor "showers" you have to wait a while between individual meteors.

For those who don't know, the Geminids are linked to the rocky asteroid Phaethon, which may or may not be a extinct comet.

There were several of us that got multiples during one big burst of action, but otherwise, it was shoot twenty frames, capture one, shoot twenty more, capture another...and all the good ones streaking just behind you, or to the right...
