Welcome to the forum!!! I'm glad to hear you are having a relaxing time w/ your new hobby.
Now to get to your photos. You found some interesting subjects. You just need to spend a little more time thinking about your compositions.
#1 Looks like it could be a neat old building but your angle isn't showcasing it. You also need to watch your background. The white house steals my attention because you have the line from the porch pulling my eye right to it.....=)
#2 You cut the top off the lamps......=( You did find some nice lines and repeating patterns in the lights.
#3 abstract.............maybe get in a little closer to the cool lines that are in focus
#4 Neat reflection in the truck but not overly exciting. Again......watch your background...=)

thanks, unfortunately that is the nicest part of the building the rest is very vanilla so i went with that angle. and i had never noticed i cut the top of the light out till u pointed it out lol
