Mini Afternoon shoot of my babe - C&C please

So I attempted to do some photos with the window to the right and some sunshine coming in. I think I might have been better off to use a filter on the window instead of shooting this way? Anyways he was pretty angry with my by the time I was done playing around....lol 1. 2.3.4. AND which one out of all 4 is the best lighting please and thanks

1,2,and 3 seem to have basically, the same lighting...window light coming from camera left, with basically the same body and head relationship to the light source. The last shot has him turned so that a bit more shadowing is created on the right. I dunno which is "best"...maybe #3??? That shows some shape to his head. I wish there were a little bit more depth of field in all of these.

Corrie, to me #1 is the best by far. His expression is very cool and the comp and cropping I like. You will probably get people that don't like chopping off the head but I think it is adorable. #2 & 4, the expression gets me. #3 just doesn't do anything for me, maybe it is the crop.

Anyway, you have a very cute subject to shoot mad or happy.

I would have loved some more too but my damn dresser was in the way!

I like #1, unfortunately eyes are out of focus. Looks like the camera chose his arm.

#1 too tightly framed.. but at least a decent exposure...
#2 meh - not attractive
#3 would have been ok.. but you shot wide open F1.4.. far eye is OOF.... and framing is too tight.... I see you just insist on the wide open nonsense, even though your lens will be sharper two stops down.
#4 meh.. - not attractive - poor kid.

Remember... a pro doesn't show the BAD ones.... there is a reason for that....
