Minolta lens question.

Hi I'm new here, I found this forum while searching for some info. If you don't mind I've got a question. After many years I decided to try photography again. I dug out my old Minolta SRT-102 sent it out for a tuneup & to have the meter re calibrated. I've picked up a couple of lenses, and the budget may allow one more. I would like to try a 200mm f/3.5. Looking at rokkor sites I would like to try one of the following, MC 200mm 3.5 PE, QF. I haven't been able to find much info on them. Does anyone have any info. on these? Any suggestions on which one I should look for would be greatly appreciated. Thanks John

I have a MC 200/3.5 Rokkor-X QF. Beautiful lens. Sharp, nice contrast, well-made. Built-in lens hood. Got it as NOS with bubble and box. Works well on a short extension tube to cut minimum focus distance.

You might want to drift up to Albuquerque and check out a camera store or two. Film gear is going for pennies on the dollar. You might be surprised how cheap minolta lenses are going for in the focal lengths you are wanting.

That's true in person, but on ebay... good god. How are your kidneys functioning? I think Paypal allows organ swaps.

Why is that? The ability to put them on Sony bodies? Here they are pretty cheap in the one old time camera store still operating.
