Mirror repair

I bought a kalimar sr200 on ebay. I took some test rolls and only the top of the image came through. I figured out that the mirror isn't lifting up when the shutter opens. So the mirror blocks the light from reaching the bottom 3/4 of the image.

I've been tinkering around with it but I still can't seem to figure out how to make the spring loaded mirror lift up and lower properly. Any ideas? I'm thinking no one really knows since the camera is so old.

I'm n ot going to buy any parts because the camera was super cheap anyway. But if anyone has experience with this problem let me know.

Contact the seller about a return. That can get expensive to fix.
