Mirror Shot

I like this shot for its simplicity, perhaps campy boring nature. I am not looking for any CC aside from if you feel I should have had the focus on something aside from the ring of the lens.

I think it is VERY well-executed, and despite the camp, I think your creepy dark eye socket/one normal eye (lol!) scowling look has made one hell of a photo out of this shopworn old concept. This is actually a very good example of this kind of shot! Well-done, man!

I was thinking this as well, however, my tired brain hasn't been able to figure out whether or not it would resolve the backward wording. For some reason, I am still struggling with it - if I were to mirror in PS would the words look right? (really dumb question I know.

Thanks! I've been trying to practice some shots through the mirror because of a lack of subject matter available to me. This certainly is one of my favorites. I agree that the expression and lighting on my eyes helps make the shot more interesting than boring here, despite the camp. Thank you for the kind words.

Thank you for this. I couldn't decide if I should have shot this with the focus more on the camera body or keep it where it is. Perhaps I will attempt to reshoot similar shots with different focus points for fun and practice.
