I would say the background looks a little hot, especially the end of tha hammock.

Composition is nice but I wonder what she's looking at. Seems the wooden fence is all there is.

The sepia tone is just right. It's a shame that some of it is "hot" as Daphne said but this is quite prone to digital compact cameras. Try cropping to a tighter shot of her face and hands. Nice work.

Much better, the crop takes that fence out. Forgot to add that the sepia looks good to me also.

hey welcome! - i've been browsing around for a while and this is the first pic i couldn't pass by without commenting - i Really think it works great with the new crop and coloring - Very interesting expression and pose. i don't like the brightness in the background much, but the lighting on the face works nicely - IMO

Good camera work. Interesting. I love the lines of the hammock and the fact that she is staring so intently toward the fence. I see a hint of Diane Arbus.

Personally; I never understood the attraction of sepia. The warm tone seems nice, but I do not see how it is appropriate for this photo.
