The eyes are the most important part of this type of shot and they are well handled in number 1 with good colour, no red, and eye makeup that was not overdone. However the viewer's attention is distracted by hair that needs combing, earings that are way too big and a bare arm at the front. The partially cut off elbow and wrist are further visual problems and the position is not flattering to her bustline. The white light reflection along the edge of the nose could also be "tamed" a little (made a little less obvious) in postprocessing.

The basics are well done, but when it comes to shooting models, attention to the smallest detail is necessary.

#1 the hair in the face bugs the heck out of me.
#2 Ilike the shot but maybe a different crop? Not so much of the arm/chest
