lol, I hear you about the 70-200. Unfortunately, this one isn't mine. I just have it on loan from a friend for a little bit.

I agree that the prime is much sharper than my zooms, I think that is why I decided to use it Saturday evening.

The lens appears brutally sharp on her skin. I think I might use a bit of Lightroom skin softening on her face (cheek area mostly, but also forehead). I have been impressed by what I've seen from the 50mm STM Canon lens.
