Right... Like I was saying, in my experience I choose to use available light when I can (and I plan out my shoots so this happens about 100% of the time). I'm not trying to start a dialogue about the definition of natural light, I am simply stating my personal preference and that I am versed in both OCF and natural ambient, and prefer one more than the other.

Pixmedic, I'm not sure what photos you're talking about; I think perhaps you have me mixed up with another photographer.

Sexy mostly naked male outdoors? Beard? Not ringing any bells?

I guess it could have been someone else. Apologies if i got some people mixed up, but given the model i just thought of you. Sorry about that.

I did photograph him a couple times with OCF, but the reason was because I had run out of enough ambient light by this time in the shoot. It was literally three shots with OCF.

The rest were all with natural ambient light.

maybe Jack...im terrible with names.
i only remembered you mentioning OCF and liking the shots.
honestly though, the pictures i thought i was remembering had the model in a right lateral recumbent position in a wooded setting. and with less clothes. I could be totally off.
Jack works too though.

Either way, sorry about the mixup. I should probably get things back on track by actually commenting on the pictures from this thread.

I photograph lots of nude men with beards, but can't recall any in the woods at night...

I don't expect all to like the second one, or the first for that matter.
