I've been meaning to ask about speelights but I haven't found an actual user. They seem to work well for you. Do you like them?

Sweet, looks nice. Next time I'd trim away the stems though - as snoop says "no sticks, no stems, no seeds, just some of that real sticky-icky-icky"

They work well for me, I haven't been in a situation where I needed to drown out the sun. This was really my first attempt at lighting evenly from both sides.

Haha, yes Fokker I agree. I had taken this photo after just getting it home. There's something about purple pot.... It's just very stinky. For example, after opening a tupperware container of this stuff, the smell will linger for 2+ hours.

Looks good. I wish I could smell it..

....Pot is over rated. As for the photo, I think you did a good job of lighting it. I think that from a technical stand point, this would be a pass. I fail to find the photo interesting though and therefore in the department of interest, I would judge it a fail. Was this simply a lighting excercise?

It was more tongue in cheek humor... Playing off of the pill threads, however I believe this to be a fairly well lit piece with a nice sharp focus and good detail on the trichromes. As for your view on pot, it really doesn't matter to me... But thanks for sharing anyways.

I can understand that you wouldn't find the subject matter interesting, as you are not a fan of doobage, and that's okay. No hard feelings there, I can't fault you for not being into botany.

Thanks for your input.

Oh man, I watched that movie the other night with my GF. GREAT FILM! Jeff Bridges is underrated. Outstanding actor. I just saw True Grit the other night as well and the Coen Brothers managed to not disappoint me again...

Is that pot ?!?!

Wow....I really need to get out there. Being Dutch and not being able to recognize pot is a bit of a disgrace eh ?

Great shot though. Nicely lit.

Never been interested in the stuff. Just like most of the Dutchies.
Since it is almost legal, there is no "forbidden fruit" to explore I guess.
