Here are some more pics that I liked from my weekend outting. Don't know if they are anything, but I like them.

I don't really know much about converting colour to b&w.... but here's a shot in the dark

The first one is great! Interesting motif captured from an interesting angle.

The conversion lacks a bit in contrasts. Maybe you could play with the filters a bit in your conversion programme?

And you could enhance the colours and contrasts in the last just a bit, too. It looks a bit "pale" on my screen. I usually tone my "pale" photos down a bit (reducing their overall luminosity) and up their contrast by the same degree. No more - helps a lot, though.

thanks for the tips lafoto. i don't really do much with my images in PS as of yet. i'll try some of your pointers though

NIce shots Megapaws. I agree with LaFoto.. up the contrast a tad and you'll be lookin real good. Isnt this the Don Valley Brickworks.?
