Why does street portraiture always seem better in B&W?

Not sure why b/w fits street shots to be honest. Seems like a natural fit.

A couple more. I need to get a blad or something smaller. That damn RB is just too heavy. Especially with the glass that's on it.

These are terrific street portraits - great cast of characters, as TJNY said. All nicely captured expressions, casual poses....great job!

I like these soooo much more than that over-processed color one. (It was also a good shot, just processed past what seemed sufficient. Just personal preference.)

Disko... I have no clue who they are. Just strangers I've met on the street. I do engage with all of them though. Some, I've spoken to for a 1/2 hour or so.

Terri, thanks. On that color image, I had a retoucher in Brazil that I work for edit that one for me. We went with that Dragon look. I actually have an 11x14 print of it.

These are great! I love the stories that their faces tell. I would like to do this but I'm a little too chicken to go talk to strangers.

PhotoLady,,, I talk with all of them. Some of the things they pass on to you, are sometimes just hard to grasp.

KSC,,,,all they can do is say no to you, and yes, I've had that happen, so I just move on..
