Morning Mist

I revisited this shot taken a while back, I knew there was something there but couldn't really draw out the details, the revisit worked much better and it is actually in the running for one of the last spots I have left to fill in my showing in September.

It was a gorgeous misty morning, everything was just peeking through the fog. Would love to hear your thoughts, thanks for taking a look!

I like it and I can see several cropping options. Have you considered making the Barn the main subject and cropping so that the Barn is at the upper left or right 1/3 cross point?

I actually like the barn just where it is, but that is just me. I like the photo.

Greybeard, thanks so much for your thoughts, I didn't think of such an aggressive crop but I do see where you are going with the idea, it's a great option for even a square composition. I like the wide crop because of the details in the field and the second building, I think they add a lot if interest.

I like the wide crop because of the details in the field and the second building, I think they add a lot if interest.

I see several great pictures within the wide shot and that is what makes it so much fun to play around with. Often people think that an alternate crop suggestion is somehow belittling the original. That is not the case at all, it simply suggests ways of having MORE fun.

Trust me, I love when people see other compositions/crops in my pictures, it means they are taking more than a quick glance and sharing their own thoughts on it, I'm very appreciative when someone spends their time and effort on my stuff
