Nice in concept, but I'm really wishing for something on the road being lit by the ray or on the middle ground, like a horse and rider or a distinctive car. This one really lacks a subject for me.
The light is very nice, but incongruous on the road. The road is utterly plain and banal. It isn't even a charming country road.
If this read as some sort of commentary of deliberate juxtaposition of the sublime and the banal it could work, but for whatever reason it feels more like you're trying to elevate the road to "fit" with the light.
Or, perhaps change the emphasis - take out the banal road - severe crop (and it is), change the focus to the rays and how they interact with the surrounding foliage...darken what's left of the road, and...
Love the morning rays but it is true that it lacks subject maybe if it does have people running for their morning exercise on the side of the road or a car. nice one runnah
