Moth on Sundew Plant (true macro)

I found this tiny moth (~10-12mm wingspan) dead in some water, so I placed it on my Thread-leaved Sundew (Drosera filiformis) for what I thought was going to be a quick photo op - not! The plant was outside, and I found that the slightest breeze was moving the plant too much to get a sharp photo. So I brought the plant inside, only to realize that I had to find a new background that didn't look crappy, and also that I to set the camera on something because I still couldn't get the shot as sharp as I wanted handheld. I don't have a tripod (well, not a good one anyway), so I searched through the house to find something that would support the camera at the correct height to get the exact framing I wanted. Eventually I found that the base to the blender did the trick! Getting the lighting right was the easy part, this time.

I actually think I'd like this photo better without the moth in it! The colors are nice and rich and I think the plant holds my interest better.

Thanks for the input. As a bug nerd it wouldn't have crossed my mind to shoot it without the moth, so I appreciate the different perspective!

Thanks! I guess there aren't too many fans of carnivorous plants on here, hahaha. Sundews are quite beautiful plants on their own, though without prey I guess they just seem a little sad/empty to me. Probably just because I want to see them catch lots of insects and grow nice and big.
