Ok so im sure there is a thred but i ant seem to ind it......i just did some custom work to my 2001 suzuki gsx-r 600 and want to do a shoot with it any tips or pointers for shooting a motorcycle?

I would take it to a rural location or a decent tough looking alley, if you have a friend that has a decent garage that may be another option.
Watch the time of day that you shoot it.
Low and wide if you have a wide angle lens.
If you use a long lens keep in mind it will compress the motorcycle.
If it has chrome on it that may relfect you shooting it , wear jeans and a black shirt.
If no person on the bike take a few shots in exposure compensation mode (3 shots) and put the camera on a tripod , if you have a remote trigger use it.

I took a quick snap of my bike near the curb mid day, use a deep enough DOF and watch your backgrounds.

I put a 2004 style tail on a 2001 bike as well as a new set of plastics and a new pipe and stuff i do want some pics of me rideing but i also would like some of just the bike for my friend who did the paint for me....somethig to promote his amazing work

Yea, those are some of the shots I enjoy taking. Although I enjoy being on the bike (such as in my avatar on the track) even more-so.

But panning others is fun too!
