Mourning Dove

I welcome suggestions on these shots. They were taken early morning. I scared him out of the brush (not really sure who scared who the most) and he obligingly landed on this branch and posed for me.

Taken handheld at 370mm.
1/500, f/8.0, ISO 25600 (auto)
Some noise reduction in post.

I probably could have lowered the shutter speed and opened the aperture a bit to get the ISO a little lower. Other thoughts?

Nice set! They may be common and an annoyance to some but I like Doves for their purplish colors. The same goes for Grackles.
