Movie Review: Restrepo

If you liked, or even kind of liked, The Hurt Locker, you need to see this movie. It's a non-political documentary that follows one Platoon over the course of a year in the deadliest place in Afghanistan, the Korengal valley - a place so dangerous that the US eventually had to withdraw. Two thumbs up.

i watched this movie and it opened my eyes up. im actually heading to afghanastan in january. hopefuly its not going to be like it was in restrepo

It is a best movie and it is directed by Tim Hetherington. The stars of it are Starring Dan Kearney, Lamonta Caldwell, Kevin Rice. Restrepo, winner of the Grand Jury Prize for best documentary at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival.
