Movie Review: The Fighter

Very good movie. The only negative, if I HAD to come up with one, is that the fight scenes aren't the best I've seen. Other than that, one hell of a movie. I recommend it. Awards will be won.

Bale's performance is so good it almost collapses into mimicry, but his twisted and terrifyingly accurate ability to portray the quirks and simmering undertones of difficult characters ensures that his performances always transcend such claims.

I found this to be a watch once and forget it kind of movie. Like any movie 'based on a true story', it was rather insipid and boring and very predictable.
