Ill tell the back story later, but two of the local horses pulled up this morning when I was heading out and started having breakfast.

awwww so beautiful.. did they break out of their pasture..

Actually, the back story is their supposed "wild" nature.
The horses are feral.

there are about 4 actual heard of these guys numbering around 40-70 or so in various different places.

These two are part of a small group that hang around the old village.

There is a great deal of controversy around them, some thinking they are descendants of the old Spanish Presidios, while others think they are descendants of horses brought in by irresponsible hippies of the 1970's and 80's that were let free after the people could no longer keep them.

Some want them gone, others (mostly in the old village and some in the neighboring high rent areas) say live and let live.
