just thought i'd post a couple shots i took yesterday. still a freshman at this so be nice .

I like #2 but mainly because I don't dig the chain link fence at the top of #1.

#1 appears a tad under exposed but then the sky is blown out, I'm noobish so I don't know what you could have done here. Perhaps fill light, but the subject is probably too big for that.

i like 1 better, i'd play around with fill flashing to better expose the shadow, oh and maybe up the saturation a bit for extra autumn colors? Kinda like this

EDIT
oh another thing I just thought of, is crop out the log or whatever that thing is on the lower right. If you cut the photo at the rocks, I think it might look better.
