All,

I am total amateur when it comes to photography, so please bear with me.

What I am looking for is a photo camera that can snap least 10-15 fps continuously for let's say 10-15 seconds. The catch is I'd need it to show a timestamp per each single frame. If I'm still not making myself clear below is an example:

pic 1 - timestamp 0.15 sec

pic 2 - timestamp 0.28 sec

...

pic 12-timestamp 1.11 sec and so on..

Would appreciate if someone can indicate a camera with such feature.

Thanks in advance,

Artur, Amsterdam

I believe what you're looking for is a camcorder, for the most normal, affordable option. Couple hundred bucks, trivially does what you want it to (not just 15 FPS, but usually 29.97 FPS!)

DSLRs do NOT sound like a good solution to this. They all keep internal timestamps, but I've never heard of an option to put it directly in the image like most camcorders can. And 8 FPS will cost you $750, 12 FPS will cost you like... $5,000+ You could do a DSLR with video, but timestamp is probably still an issue, and if you're only/mainly going to use it for video, then again why not just get a camcorder?
