My 2nd E-session!

So I posted my first E-session on here and was considered a bust for chopping fingers, dead space, and bad composition. To be honest... I have A LOT of bad habits but I like the pictures I took. This is just a few of many I took

Love the black silhouette!
Nice compositions, a bit abstract for my flavor and not something I'd do w/o specifically being asked but thats my style and my clients - still nice!
I'm not very thrilled on the filter(s) you used (by the way which were they?) - b/c I don't thing that this retro look is appropriate here.
Otherwise, its a nice set of images - but do watch those wide angle shots b/c they could byte you in your (_|_) one day - Back them up with basic bread&butter.

Thanks man! The couple really wanted this type of edit to begin with for the pictures. I liked the way they looked natural but with a couple tweeks. Oh well... I didn't use any filters I just played around and made my own preset

I love these. Very good job. The abstract style is exactly what I'm always trying to accomplish but can never seem to. At least not like this. If I had to cc something, it would be how far back number 4 was shot. There's to much going on with the background.

I'm not a huge fan of the color in these, but I can see how these shots would look great framed right and in the right color room.

I don't have time now to get go over all of them, but they're not bad shots. I do have to say that #7 is absolutely awesome! Very, very well done! I hope that you think imitation is the greatest form of flattery because I may very well steal this idea from you for my next engagment session.

A very nice series, congrats.

A few nitpicks and comments

Overall, I agree with other comments about the processing. The somewhat fadded image is a bit odd and lacking.

2- nice minimalist feel to it, well done. I'm not a fan of the crop at the knees though. I just dont like crops at anything that bends.

4- Love the concept, I feel there is too much tilt. A bit of tilt to add some motion or interest in a static scene can easily become too much tilt and makes the viewer feel things are falling.

6- has a tad too much wall for my tastes. I feel they are really squished in there and tight and I almost feel that the wall is coming out towards me.

7- really digging the symetry

I agree with twinky--would have liked to see the legs.

Also in #3, if you shot from a higher angle (and slightly to the right), the arch behind them would have naturally framed their bodies, which would be a nice effect. His head interrupting the arch just makes me feel nervous when I look at the photo.

I really like the creativity in these. Not the standard boring poses. They don't all work for me personally, but I think that is just personal taste. I like the editing. Overall very nice imo.

Thank you for all the tips and comments guys! I will take ALL of them into consideration on my next e-session I do. All your comments really help! I would be flattered if you imitated some of the poses
