she is out of focus but as a mother of 2 i know this is hard when they are so young. i's like to have seen more of her head though.

thank you ... the camera focused on the closest thing that was my daughter's right cheek and camera settings were at f/1.8 so it blurred pretty much everything it could.

You need to get some lighting/strobist gear so you can shoot at apertures that will give you more DOF and allow you to shoot at higher shutter speeds.

I think you cut off a little too much of her head in this shot. Slightly underexposed.
