Hey Alls I took these a couple months ago at the Detroit Belle Isle Grand prix on Sat during the ALMS Sat race day,, sorry just now getting around too posting them been busy with other picture projects since then ,, I took alot of pictures that day and narrowed it down too 234 for viewing below sorry there's alot but heck if your a fan of Indy
or ALMS cars well you might like.

This was my first time at Belle Isle and gotta say its lacking in spectator viewing area's i had pit pass but that did get ya to too many viewing area's for the Cars on the track hardly at all.. I don't think I'd go back too this grand Prix unless I had Press photo pass.
I took all the pictures from like only 4 locations there seemed to be fences everywheres gawsh

The ontrack pictures I took these with my Canon 40D with my 75-300mm F4-5.6 the pictures of Danica and Helio and the pictures in the vette around the track were with my Sigma 24-70 f2.8
lense attached

C&C is always welcome and I'm not gonna number 236 of these pics soo sorry again for the amount of pictures
lol but I think there's something in each of them for you all too see sooooooo your getting them

#1: I like the composition, but it seems just a bit over-sharpened. Great colors, too.

#2: Would have benefited from a shallower depth of field; try opening up the aperture a notch.

#3: Seems a little soft, but I really love the...

....ah, nevermind.

Jon tis true on my sharpening sometimes I slide that adjustment slider a bit much I just like too make those shiney metal surfaces shine too much sometimes I'm a Car guy with a show car I guess I can never get enough shine lol I'll keep that in mind next time I take pictures of pretty race cars tho :)

yeah with the Shallow deapth of field too I agree a few of those need more separation

And Soft yeah a few of those focus points were Wish I had a better lense my old 75-300 I've had for 6 years ,, I'll have a 70-200L lense before spring :) presently saving my nickels for that :)

Cheers and thanks for the input :)
I'll take any CC :)

Steve :)
