I owe you all an apology. I have a tendancy to jump right in without introducing myself when so many others make introductions first.
I have been a photography enthusiast for over 35 years and I have recently taken the plunge in to digital photography. I recently bought an Olympus Evolt E-300 with a 14-45mm lens, and I own various studio/outdoor lighting equipment.
My primary photo shoots will be that of a varity of Survival. Tactical and Hunting Knives. Any help I can get on this subject, I can use!
I use my real name as my user name, for now anyway, and I believe The Photo Forum is going to be an interesting place to discuss photography.
My best wishes to you all!

Welcome aboard.

I'll even move this post to the Introduction forum for you.

First create an account on photobucket.com, then upload your shots on there.

They will provide three code Url, Tag, and Img. Copy the Img code and paste it here.

Many a question you have, many an answer you can find here.

I have taken many photos of knives, guns, and other stuff, including Indian jewelry. Many others here are experts in this arena, and all can help you out tremendously. Just ask.

First thing to consider is getting some strobes, soft box, and a white box.
Those will help you out considerably and put you well on your way to taking great product shots.

I'm still waiting to see some of you pics... when will we be treated with some of those?

Oh and WELCOME!!!!!!!

I am waiting for my order to come in which, unfortunately won't be until next week Wednesday. I'll have my system setup and ready to go the day I receive my order. I should be able to post some pics within a couple of days after...Thank you all for your interest and help. I feel much more confident with your support and knowledge backing me up!
