my black and white photos

i am kind of new to photography- took a course in black and white photos and i really enjoy it. I have so many pictures but here are some that i really like. i do not have a dark room but what the hay right. If anyone can help me figure out how to get a bigger dephth of field with some action shots send me some suggestions. I am trying to get F8 but the slightest movement will make it blurry. here are some.
