I was over at my friends house and his dog was just hanging out there, so I snapped a few pics of him and here's my favorite one. I think the ball being there really adds to it.

Love this picture, has a nice warm feeling to it. My only comment would be that it seems to my eyes to be a tiny bit out of focus, not sure if its just me though..

Tender shot! The critter's facial expression is almost human. I would try to remove the yellow cast.

thanks for the feedback! i wish my dog was a little more colorful! the gold of my friend's dog's fur is awesome for photographs...my dog is black, so it's hard to get good pictures of him

But please do try, will you, Nytmair, just so we get to see some more pet pics here .
Honestly: I like to see anyone's pets on here as much as I like to see flowers, landscapes, weather, whatever, as long as it entertains me for one, and teaches me, as well.
And I like this dog portrait, will consider the perspective for future pics that I might take (so both: entertainment and instruction are being achieved with this one!), only would I, too, have preferred to see this dogs eyes in focus, much rather than its wet nose. Though this wet nose has its virtues too...!!! (I almost FEEL it )
