I like it.... but I would have loved it if the tree was a little more dominant in the scene, it seems to blend in with the others, apart from that great shot

Agreed, creativity would imply doing something original or unthought of ( at least rarely thought of anyway). This is very cliche drama shooting. For some reason, when most people think odd, gloomy and mysterious. A girl in a plain dress next to a creepy tree or in the wilderness seems to come to mind.

Yeah, I mean I think it's well done if I'm right in thinking I know what you were going for (lol)

But...it seems too similar to Brooke Shaden only here the narrative is just not very strong.

It's surreal(ish) but....incoherent...which isn't necessarily a bad thing but at the same time it bores me so there's nothing to keep me drawn to the image. I'm just left confused and bored.

I know this also sounds kind of cliche but I think It would be cool f to further explored the levitation series.

You know I love your work, but I am not really feeling this one. Is she supposed to be coming out of the tree? The cool wb is pretty distracting too, especially since she is wearing a white (blue) dress.

Wow, ya'll are seeing a lot more of this than I am; I guess my vision issues may be the culprit, but I can't SEE enough of this picture to evaluate it, so my only critique would be "It's dark and I can't see it."

I can tell there's a girl in a white dress on the ground. And I can tell there's some sort of gnarly tree, or maybe it's just a piece of a tree? But the whole area at the base of the tree, where I presume the girl's legs and feet are--I have NO idea what's happening there.
What little I *can* see just looks like she fell out of the tree and hit her head. Goofy girl--shouldn't have been climbing a tree in a long, flowing dress in the first place.

I think a branch sticking out of her chest surrounded by blood would add a certain feel.

It looks more under exposed to me than "dark".

I like the image, and seems much less gimmicky to me than your earlier stuff I've seen. I'd like to see more detail in the tree, not so much that it glows, but more deep shadow detail would have been nice.

To my eye it's improved by pushing more contrast into the lower tones and removing the blueish cast. The blue tones suggest that this is shade during the day, and I visualize this much more as a night shot. So, I did that, desaturated it a lot, and shoved a bunch of darkness around to try to suggest a moonlit scene at night.

Exactly what I was thinking, the artisticness (if that is a word) is phenomenal ...I just wish there was more clarity, or presence with the subject and tree, although it may have been what you were looking for, as far as soft..mystic...in both cases good job
