On camera flash just blasts all the beautiful delicate detail out of a child's skin.
IMO, this is overexposed quite a bit.

Even if the brightness is diminished so that the skin tone at her temples starts to look natural, the front of her face and her hands still looks blasted away white from the flash.
Note the detail of her skin that shows on the side, the little micro-shadows; this is absent in the front where the light has obliterated it.
She is a lovely child with terrific presence and she'll make a great subject.
Turn off the flash or move it off camera and away.
