I agree... More in focus like the ball or pool stick would benefit the shot.. Otherwise it looks like she's winking if you don't know the tile.

Yeah...all the OOF cue and billiard balls kind of does not help to "advance" the idea that she's shooting pool. I LOVE playing pool! I would say,definitely, try and re-create this shot--it's really got a LOT of potential! I like her pose and expression, and the casual, and FUN! nature of this photo. THis photo is a good example of how converting to B&W can CHANGE a photo's overall impact; for example, in THIS photo, the loss of the table's felt color, and the loss of the color on the OOF foreground ball, makes those very OOF objects immediately DROP their "instant recognition" nature...the cuestick...also loses its instant ID nature...so...the elimination of COLOR in this shot, combined with the OOF nature of the foreground, means that the B&W nature is well....kid's awake...gotta go.
