A VERY informal shot I took of my daughter last fall nice???.

Yes. Nice, but too far away. She is so small within the entire frame, she appears to almost be a "side note" (put into the centre, admittedly), while it all actually is about a pumpkin field and night falling...

In short: a crop might be considered ... maybe?

^Agree. I love fall here in northern IL. I like the shot very much, exposure is great, colors are great, love the darkening sky, but too much empty space all around. I'd try a different crop.

I agree about the crop. If you would have turned her around to that she was straddling the pumpkin, facing into the frame, it would have been awesome. Also, it looks as if the focus was more on the front pumpkin than on her. Great, saturated colors on this one.:thumbup:

The funny thing about the light is it was early afternoon if not 12:00 Noon.
