Just ran downstairs to grab my plate and noticed how pretty it was.

Looks too dark and too yellow. I'm not really a fan of the shallow DoF either; you focused on some penne in the center, but the other ingredients are all out of focus. If you insisted on the shallow DoF I would have rather seen the bottom third of the dish in focus.

i love the darkness and the color. makes me hungry.

i just wish that big front and center piece of sausage were in focus.

in right up front, proudly on display, and my eyes are drawn to it.
